The Prakalp provides education and training to farmers along with healthcare services to address the health needs of the rural populace and mainstream the rural communities by providing economic opportunities and job training. It also runs the microfinance programs and support the small businesses mushrooming in the area. The Prakalp has been advocating the rights and interests of the rural communities.
