Matruchhaya Balika Kalyan Aashram
Matruchhaya Balika Kalyan Aashram was founded by Madhukar Dixit in 1976 with the principle aim of serving society by unifying humane and social work.
The Prakalpa works for the betterment of orphaned girl children by providing them with a place they can call home. The Prakalpa has an all-female staff to safeguard and provide an atmosphere of trust among the girl children. As the name suggests, Matruchhaya (the mother’s shadow) aims to provide all the motherly care and affection to the orphaned children who are not lucky enough to receive it. The Prakalpa aims to serve the underserved girls by empowering them through education to join the mainstream of society as equals. The Prakalpa also provides education and care to other needy children.
